How we measure

These numbers come from our own measurement system: test machines in each region fetch a 100 MB file over HTTPS from a production BlazingCDN zone, under ideal network conditions. Latency is round-trip to the nearest edge. Your own result will differ, because a laptop on Wi-Fi measures your last mile rather than our edge. Measured June 2026; the independent CDNPerf board below is refreshed far more often.

Testing it yourself? Run it from a server, not a laptop. A browser on home Wi-Fi measures your own connection, not our edge. A curl from a cloud instance on a 1 Gb/s port measures what we actually deliver:

The honest column: Asia. Measured in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea, the dense anycast networks are 3-8x faster on this small-object test, and our uptime there trails the leaders. How to read this table

  • The test. CDNPerf reports the median time for a real user to fetch a 500-byte object. It rewards PoP density and connection setup, and it does not measure throughput on large files, which is what decides how fast a 100 MB installer or a video segment downloads. Large-file numbers and public test links are in the table above.
  • The source. Every figure comes from the public boards at cdnperf.com, read on August 31, 2026. The data updates hourly, so the live board will differ slightly.
  • Asia*. The average of CDNPerf country views for Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea.
  • Uptime. RUM uptime is measured from real user connections and can contain false positives. It is an observation, not a contractual commitment, for any provider on the list.
